Re: Hard Rock
Was down yesterday and the line for a players card at Hard Rock was out to the parking garage, so turned around and headed over to the Borgata for a short .50 SDB session. Broke a 4 session losing streak and wound up + $600, after hitting quad Jacks, Kings and deuces in an hour. Was told that the Gold MLife tier card will get you $150 in free play and $80 in comps as well as 2 free nights at Hard Rock.

Congratulations. Nice to finally claw some of those losses back. Looking forward to my third RF, after which I hope to abandon this misbegotten hobby.

Sometime a little diversion can pay-off. https://www.hardrockhotelatlanticcity.c ... tier-match If I remember correctly several months ago. For a gold M-life card holder it was 1 night and $50 dollars for the upgrade.Looks like they sweeten the deal.

Congratulations Carcounter!
I'm @ Bally's as I type this. Plan on going over to HR but maybe I should wait 'til the wee hours of the am to go over. I stood on enough lines after being stuck in enough traffic just trying to get here and in my room today.

That $4 tram is suddenly the best deal in town. Wish I boarded. I remained at Caesars and busted today.

Has anyone actually played at either of the new casinos?

I played at Hard Rock this past weekend. First time I went the line for tier match and FP was still out the doors. Played with the card I received in the mail instead of waiting since I was there. Blew through $400 playing various .25 Vp. Absolute garbage. Went back later that night and waited 1 hr and 45 minutes for upgrade/FP. Went to play the $150 FP and the machines would not let me log in with the new card (Rock Royalty). Said call attendant on screen so I did. Was told I needed to go back to Rewards center and have them reset my card. Needless to say I was pissed. Lucky I was now able to use the Rock Royalty line and only had a 5 minute wait. Zip Zip and they reset the card. And then Zip Zip the VP took that $150 FP right back in an instant. Played another $50 of my own and still nothing. And I mean nothing. $600 of play and no 4oak's. Very few hands for that amount of play worth more than High pairs. Sure I know, Just lousy luck. Two ladies playing $1 VP were waiting for hand pay's near me. The one lady commented when I congratulated her that she was still behind even with the $4000 Jackpot. So that was it. I headed back to Bally's where I should have stayed in the first place.

Paco, what were the paytables for quarters at HR? Do Balleys quarter machines have a better return ( assuming that is what you play there).
