Wife needed 25k in points to get top tier (Diamond) before July 1st. So off we went. I was playing on her card 5 bucks a hand when I hold 3 to the royal and hit. OH BOY. I knew they would be a little pi$$Y about playing on someone card other then mine. In the end I got hand paid and my wife made Diamond Tier.Royal 12 this year. What a great first half and really unreal.Good Luck chasing the royal!
Wife needed 25,000 points

Nice one, Wildman!
Keep riding that hot streak. Myself, it has been the complete opposite - after maybe 25 sessions on the year I have only had 2 "good" days and 2 small winners. All the rest have been complete disasters.

Congrats wildman, there's nothing wrong with being over-royaled. Now remember: Christmas is only 6 months away.....

Nice hits lately!! They may be the last casino in Michigan with full and near pay machines now that reports say Greektown gutted theirs.

Although it sounds like you got away with it (being married with the same last name definitely helps), in a scenario like this, I would have been tempted to play a game that would have avoided a handpay even more than dollar 9/6 JoB. They likely reserved the right to do things as severe as revoking your players club account. But whether they actually would or not is probably a case by case basis.
And congrats on the hit! Reminds me of when my gf hit her first Royal. We went to the casino that day to play just to make sure our comp balance stayed active because we hadn't played there in nearly 6 months. Lol. I like the looks of your royal better though. Hers was only nickels.

Hers was only nickels. Vman your right they could have booted me, I was told it was a "rules violation" I knew it was coming. This casino has booted many just for playing on someones free play that was not there own. I have heard of people playing off free play not there own, hitting a hand pay and the casino did not pay it and escorted them out the door and told them not to come back for 30 days. Few years ago I hit a keno hand pay on my aunts card and nothing said. My buddy hit a hand pay on his kids card nothing said. Now this was at there sister casino in MT Pleasant, they don't bother, but this smaller casino is all about the rules. I get it now it shows my wife's account is up 5k on her end of the year statement. We file a joint return so no worry there.

WTG Wildman! I dunno if I'd take the chance knowing others had been denied payment. That would suck ROYALLY!
