Guess I really have to stay away from those dollar machines, or at least use them for the free play only.
Have you tried using your free play on slots?  I started doing this last year and my free play and points increased substantially.  Don't sit there betting the minimum while the slot machine cleans out your wallet.  Slots are set to feed you many medium sized jackpots while they bait you with a huge jackpot that never happens.  This is one place where betting bigger is better as long as you limit
your risk, set a low cash out limit and walk away with your profit.  Personally, I walk with any profit over $50.  It's always great to start out the day with a free play white ticket in your wallet.    I've hit some really nice slot jackpots.  As long as you don't get sucked into playing them regularly, they can be more profitable than some player's think.  I never play them with my cash.   Use your free play to Hit and Run.  Don't be greedy.  Critics will say free play is your money.  That is true.  I figure if they are going to give it to me, I should put it to work.  When I mix VP and slot play, they give me more free stuff.  Sounds like a "win win" to me.

Nothing accrues to me via FP. So I'd be shocked if CET suddenly viewed me as a more desirable target just because I dump my FP into slots vs. VP! But I can't really knock it until I try it. So, next week I'll give it a chance. All I have to lose is $25 worth. I've seen very quick slot jackpots. It was nice to deposit yesterday's trip withdrawal plus fifty bucks. I was mentally shot.

It would be nice if someone could come up with some kind of universal free play/comp formula. I don't think that is possible as it varies with casino and management.  I have played at casinos where the free play and comps were generous and played at others where they were non existent.  In Tampa and Hollywood I can earn a free lunch in an afternoon.  In Biloxi nothing is free but the room.   With their odds, they should carry you there with four bearers on each end of a golden platform.I guess you could ask at the player's club, but I doubt they know either.

Good advice.  I have been playing on this website for a number of years.  I always play the best game.  Most of the time I play single line100.067%  DDB and 99.578% TDB.  I have never lost my original 10,000 coins.  At one time I was up over 20,000 coins.  Right now I have a little over 19,000 coins.  I have been the daily leader numerous times.  Every day is not a winner, but royals and quad aces show up on time. I log into Pandora while I play, so I can make the music anything I want.   The air conditioning is always right and my own personal casino is non smoking.  The slot attendant is a cutie and she is very friendly.Since I haven't been to a casino, I haven't touched my wallet except to pull out a credit card.   Personal checks come for me in the mail and I keep them.   My wife keeps asking me when I will go back to the casino and I act like I don't hear her.   Life is good at the videopoker.com casino.   I might even buy another car with the money I am saving from not leaving the house.

Phil: Hope your wife is steadily mending and feeling better. As you know from my previous posts, we have stayed away from casino VP for a year and drastically reduced play before that time. Bingo has satisfied us when we could go. There are alternatives which the two of you can enjoy as your wife heals.

RF, I can deal with the half percent casino advantage. But drastic times call for drastic measures. I plan to only play $100 coin in beyond free play. That's just enough to keep management at bay and send me home even or a winner. The sea of red has beaten me into submission. I took 11,000 steps yesterday. Enjoy the town, no chance to get down.

I'm going to try it tomorrow night. I have a little free play and I like the looks of the new Avatar machine. I really liked the movie too. Last night I took about 11,000 steps too. Got beat up early on. Was beautiful weather so took long walks. Then in the middle of the night played some 3 cent spin poker and beat them up good. See that post in a bit. Of course the casino was hoping I would take 11k steps back and give me 2k if that steps forward. Long walks, hot shower beating of those stiff muscles from sitting too long. Can't beat it. I love long drives too, but can't do those anymore without pit stops every 2 hours or so. The days of lying on a cold concrete floor in 10 degrees weather to change a starter are long gone for this camper.

Prior wins cannot always help with the pain of a slaughter.Wildman i wish i didn't have to one-up you on your own thread, ohhhh how i wish!!!But the scene of your loss, on one of two $2 machines, was already blood soaked. On june 26 the one on the angle was the scene of my worst loss 39-large to be exact.Ironically this same machine gave me two $20K royals in 2016 and two $8K royals last year one $4K royal this year. However, this history and 7 royals=$18K this year did not help ONE DAMN BIT on the sick-puppy ride home on 6/26.Chasing, steaming, tilting, whatever it is called=STUPIDITY right? Never again right? Resolute and firm in that belief, it's back to "the valley of death" tomorrow.
