playing 5 dollars a spin is obviously 4 times higher than 1.25 dollars a spin but playing 5 dollars a spin seems much higher.assuming full pay jacks o better .playing triple double for 1.25 a spin may feel more volatile than full pay jacks o better for 5 dollars a spin due to the volatility of 19.51 at jacks compared to around 90 volatility at tripple double.they call me captain obvious.

Anybody know how long the lines are at the 2 new casinos to get a players card lately?

Lines are way shorter, still suggest going as early in the day as possible. Last week accomplished the deed at both locations in 10 minutes.

Went to Hard Rock and Ocean Resort yesterday to get my cards and free play. Bottom line is Ocean resort is very nice, comparable to a top end Vegas casino and has 9/6 JOB for dollars and up in high limit room as others have said. Quick tip, stop at the reception area once you come out of the garage elevators and they will get you your card right there, no lines. Thought that was a nice thing. Hard Rock was busier, but no playable VP that I could find. You can skip lines at Wild card center and go to kiosks upstairs to get your card. Much smaller lines. My pet peeve is the traffic circulation in that part of town. Traffic signal timings are just awful and are not adjusted to traffic demand. This is my business so it is frustrating to sit at a signal for what seems to be minutes when there is no cross traffic on the other street. Will go back to Oceans for some 9/6 dollar JOB when the mood strikes, but Borgata will still be my go to casino in AC. Easier to get in/out, know where everything is, nice amenities etc. But Oceans has nice pools overlooking the Atlantic. BTW yesterday was 15x slot dollars at Borgata. Not a seat to be had any VP machine, even the ones with bad paytables.

The masses love their comps, odds be damned! Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead. If they want to pay $500 for a $100 meal, that is their privilege.

I finally went to the new casinos for my cards and FP. Both were a predictable crap show on a Saturday afternoon. But both trips paid off well. Hard Rock gave $50 FP, as I am a CET Platinum. I made that $54 with a JOB quarter quad Aces. Pay tables are garbage. They care so little about VP that it does not even have a section, as a pit boss advised. He said to look for a red shirt slot attendant and ask them. I had a button banger nearby. He eventually hit something nice, as he cashed out >$1K. Ocean initially gave me $25 FP. I objected. They asked if I had a HR card; I furnished it. They matched the $50. I monetized $110. Playable dollars. I hit 20 points. Can someone estimate my coin in? A crew paraded through and awarded $100 and $1000 FP certificates like candy on the open floor. Amazing pool area. I love the odds and the cool climate. Caesars is much too warm and stuffy downstairs. I mean, it's a sauna! Upstairs lousy odds discourage play. I'd do Ocean monthly.
