id love to hit a 100k+ jackpot off a quarter machine , can anyone verify this is true?
Dreaming can be fun. Dreaming of big jackpots is what keeps us going back to the casino. The chance you will hit a $100,000 jackpot playing quarters is very unlikely, even in ten lifetimes. If this is your goal, the game you play doesn't mean a thing. Odds don't matter either. You are looking for something that is so rare, no strategy can make it happen any faster.

When I play the lotto, I only buy one ticket. Lots of my friends spend hundreds of dollars a week on their tickets and they don't win any more than I do. The fact is they lose a lot more. If you are going to play for an extreme long shot, keep your dreams from overriding your brain. It's fun to gamble, as long as you don't start thinking the machine owes you a win.

You are right on this one. We were in Biloxi a few years ago and happened to run into the casino manager. He told us more jackpots are hit at the Beau Rivage bar than any other place in Mississippi. The Beau Rivage bar also has some of the worst VP odds In Mississippi. Those machines are played practically 24/7. More hands played equals more jackpots. The same thing is true with a player as well. Unfortunately, more jackpots does not always mean more profit.

so im confusing luck with math? when i see more jackpots in borgata on nj jackpots greater than 50k+
its more on being played more often which makes borgata in the win of 500k+? so when someone wins 50k
the house wins 500k meaning one guy out of 100 came home a winner along with the house and produced 99 losers? im starting to see betting structures are worthless through virtual testing and common sense, seeing if my next 100 hands are winners may as well just bet table max and win the most since no betting structure can survive 900k hands on a 99% game

The casino always wins long term. If they don't, they find out why and do what they need to do to remedy the situation. If you are searching for the best place to win $100K playing quarters, I can't help you. If you want to enjoy playing video poker without paying a lot to do it, I do it all the time.

My advice is play the best games you can find as perfectly as you are able. Play within your bankroll and stop dreaming of big jackpots, that's where the trouble starts. Play slow and accurate. Take advantage of everything the casino will give you and enjoy the experience. If you like betting on long shots, do what I do and buy one $3 Power Ball ticket and dream big dreams. If you hit the big one, you can play VP alongside the professionals and laugh at your losses.

From all the forgoing, it seems likely that the jackpot was, indeed, a progressive, and needed all three hands to be four aces plus the joker. The most likely route to that result is to have the hand dealt. The likelihood of being dealt that hand is one in 2,869,685.
It's like getting sequential royal flush. Nearly same odds.

The odds of hitting the Power Ball are one in 292 million. Still, it happens. On long shot bets, I'm more concerned about the cost not the prize. You are paying for a fantasy. I like my fantasies big and my entry fee small.

I can tolerate my entry fee being the amount of a viable consolation prize. In those lotteries, about $7.

i think you are right Phil, if i do play triple play joker poker and hit 140k thats awsome but that means i could play 5-10years and no jackpot, or i could play for 3 years and return 110k of my money, but to shoot for a goal that high is not reasonable or worth it, ive hit royals those aren't too far away, i am trying to figure out which is better of the two, jacks or better or bonus poker 99.54 or 99.25 either night can produce more 4 aces vs flushes/full house so will my bankroll roll notice either difference?
