What was the largest Jackpot you ever witnessed?
In April of 2013, I was walking through the old poker room at Mohegan Sun and a lady playing a 2 seater progressive penny machine hit for over 2.3 million bucks as I was walking by her machine. The largest vp jackpot I ever saw was 100k. It was a guy playing an 8/5 5 dollar machine with max bet or 125 bucks a hand. He didn't seem overly excited so who knows if he was even ahead for the session. When the lady hit the 2.3 million, the yellow tape showed up in less than a minute and more suits came out of the woodwork than ants on an overripe discarded banana. Funny, 90 percent of those suits I have never seen again.

Walked into a bar where a guy had hit four dealt Deuces on a 100 play machine literally seconds before. I think he was playing dollars. The place obviously didn't have the cash on hand. Bartender said it was the biggest she'd seen in twenty years of bartending.

I was walking past a bank of DDB machines in a casino when all of a sudden an older lady playing quarters hit 3 of a kind for a $3.75 jackpot. I'll never forget it.... talk about Excitement City!

A few months ago I was playing VP at the Hollywood Hard Rock. I heard a bunch of commotion behind me and walked over to see what was going on. A guy had hit the grand jackpot on a slot machine for $23,000. The Tampa Hard Rock says they have had slot jackpots over one million dollars. I would like to see that W2G.

I've been told that when AC opened, the highest jackpot on a three reel slot was $500.

Were the machines rigged back then too or just recently?

I was in Laughlin at the Golden Nugget in late 2015 and a guy hit a progressive for a bit more than 1.8 million. It was on a slot that I had never seen called 1,000,000 degrees slot. The progressive starts at 1,000,000 and builds. I talked a bit to the guy and he said he had only played a few minutes. It took forever to get paid as they had to bring people in from Las Vegas to check the machine out to make sure it had not been tampered with. The guy seemed low key and did not show a lot of excitement. Maybe he was keeping it inside till he got away from the mob of people.

A couple of years ago, a lady hit a jackpot of close to $1.3 million on a Wheel of Fortune machine at Main Street Station in Las Vegas. I did not actually see it hit, but was close enough to hear the commotion, and did play close to the roped off machine later.
