Dignity? How about class? I don't know about anyone else on this forum, but I am tired of being called an idiot, unintelligent and a loser just because I don't claim to be able to hit five buttons in the right order. There are more important things in life than gambling. How about family, loving the same person for a lifetime, your children, respect, being remembered for more than how many royals you hit and leaving the earth a better place than when you left it? I guess non of those things matter to someone who lives in a casino?
Is it just me or....

For me my play is 80% AP 20% Recreational Play. After a monster month last month +$9,400 do to a promo and being over royaled. Been laying low collecting free play and gas cards since the promos stink this month. For the year +$13,100. Not including $1640 in gas cards, rooms, concert tickets, food vouchers and gifts.
I know many think there is no way to make money playing a negative game, I thought the same but this year I set out to see for myself if it can be done or not. YES it can be done and no there is not a whole lot of luck to it. Math don't lie. You must put a lot of time into a promo. Many are not willing to do it. I have played 3 promos this year Feb. + $750 June + $5,100, AUG + $ $ 4,000. I was able to do this on just $5 bets.
I have been very surprised how this has played out. One can beat a promo, this makes the negative game positive. Even games less then 99% could be used to beat a promo and produce a profit on the right promo.
With a Bankroll and determination it can be done. Oh and yes I have had some BIG losses this year 2 trips this year I remember like yesterday both 3k losses and still up 13k for the year. I am worried a bit about my tax bill next April but I hope to add to my total yet this year to help in that department.

No one is disputing that you can make some money playing VP and putting an effort into promos. I made money playing 96% VP one quarter at a time two years in a row. Does that make me an AP? Hardly.
What seems suspect to me is the claim that you can get rich through VP and stay rich. Soon or later your Million Dollars in Six Months money will run out or the casino will ask you to play somewhere else. I don't believe anyone gets rich selling video poker strategy books either. There are only a few ways to get rich. Be born into it, work for it or luck into it.
If the book's author said this I would believe it. "I took the million dollars I won playing VP in 2000 and invested it wisely. I got rich by compounding my investment and living a frugal lifestyle."
Winning a million dollars playing VP is like winning the lottery. Most people aren't so fortunate. Most wealthy people started businesses, saved their money and lived within their means. Those people on TV who are standing next to a corporate jet selling you the next get rich scheme aren't rich or they wouldn't need to do that. Think about that the next time you see someone selling you on the idea of getting rich in a casino.
Yes, you can make money playing VP in Vegas. Can you do it in Mississippi or Miami? "Call us in ten years and tell us how it worked out."

In other words hyper-partisan Republicans AND Democrats! In (other) other words, staunch supporters of (s)H(r)illary and "Da Donald".
*Note to Pun Analytics: "Da Donald" can refer to two things..... (1) It's the irreverent form of "The Donald" that often is used to refer to President Trump; or.....(2) It refers to his Russian roots by using the Russian word DA which translates as "YES" .......as in "Yes Vladimir! Da! I hear you Vladimir! DA, it will be done!"
