What I said was: if you are attributing that someone's bankruptcy resulted from that person reading Bob Dancer's book, it may be borderline slander.

Are you telling me there has never been anyone who read one of Bob Dancer's books and has attempted to duplicate his results? Were they winners? What would happen if someone read that having an advantage assures you can bet as big as you want and tried it?
And here, in my opinion, is the crux of the matter. Florida Phil is that someone. He bombed out, and is bitter to the extreme about it.

to duplicate his results we would need a time machine, Bob told us he had many different advantage plays and video poker being just one. i personally don't believe Phil Bombed out on anything or bitter about anything, but he is stuck on the east coast like me and there is no full pay deuces wild games there or here in atlantic city, and the best me and him have access to is a crummy 99.54- game that over affinity we will lose our bank accounts, until the day they lower blackjack tables to min bet 5$ or 10$ or introduce FPDW in every casino were born to lose thats not me saying it, its my computer and your computer modern technology/science and math says we can not over come that -99.54 game with that said we have to give up gambling or view gambling as a acrade game instead of 0.25 to play that race car game you pay 25$ or 250$ all for fun. i am pretty sure if Borgata offered FPDW car counter would be all over that and ditch that horrible 99.69 thats violent to his bankroll so yes either give up gambling or we move to vegas and play 5-10$ blackjack and 0.25 FPDW games

Billy, good morning. What are you doing on your computer in the middle of the night? Can't you sleep?

Unfortunately, this is the price you must pay for living a gambler's lifestyle. Everyone is your friend when you're winning. They want to be around you. They envy you and want to be like you. Everything you do seems to turn to gold.

When you're losing, your friends abandon you. Your wife finds an excuse to leave you. Most of the time, she takes half your winnings with her. You stay up nights wondering if the cards will ever run your way again. You change games. You move around the country. You hang out with temporary winners hoping it will improve your results.

The sad thing is, if you invested as much effort into a real occupation you would have been better off. I don't envy professional gamblers. It's a tough life. Few would admit it, but they would agree with me in private conversation.

I'm not mad at you, the person who calls himself "Bob Dancer" or all professional gamblers. God loves all his creation, especially us. We were made in his image and given the option to choose how we live. Gambling for a living is not what he had in mind.

God certainly loves fools, I suppose that's why She makes so many of them. I just wish She didn't insist they post on this forum.

By the way, poster who hides behind the pseudonym" Florida Phil", my career choice allowed me to retire in my mid50s, not needing to send a spouse out to work in her 70s.

If you keep playing video poker like a pro you will most likely have to go back to work. I'm pretty sure you can fill in for Bob at South Point on his days off. Have you ever had a wife? Any kids? Just curious...
