Economic Suicide

When trump took office the economy was in strong shape.....his subsequent Tax cuts for the richest of the rich and for large businesses were totally unneeded, but more importantly unwise; Here is the evidence that is most obvious:

The US debt, which has been growing for 30+ years (except for the last three years of the Clinton Administration, a fact which NO republican has any reply or counter to) is now so far gone, the ONLY way to pay down even part of the principle is Increase Taxes on the very same people now reaping benefits they do not need and leave the increases there for at least a decade. This is a simple fact of Mathematics, no partisan politics involved.

The stupidity of Supply Side economics (aka "voo doo" economics, the mantra of republicans since 1981) is now established fact. It does not work, never has, never will. When an economy is growing the way the US economy now is, having this type of deficit is suicidal and moronic.

So why is it the case? simple....cognitive dissonance on the part of All concervatives, whether they be filthy rich or just plain middle class schmoes who like trump because he validates their anger and racist tendencies. Both type of conservatives honestly feel they will not be alive to have pay the piper when this charade comes to end, which it must....IT MUST. But I am comforted by the fact that those responsible for this irresponsible selfish greed WILL INDEED reap what they sow, and it will surprise the heck out of them, but not in a good way.

Let me be clear, the US debt and deficits are (overall) the fault and responsibility of Every President (except, technically, Bill Clinton) and lawmaker elected to congress from BOTH parties since 1980. But now it is the Republicans, with control of all branches of government, who are flagrantly and irresponsibly sending the situation totally out of control....showing their hypocrisy as the "Fiscally responsible party" that, back in 2011, was willing to TANK the entire world economy because, in their sheer hatred for the first Black President, refused to raise the debt ceiling, playing chicken with the well being of the world in hopes that the President would be blamed. He wasn't, they backed down, and disaster was avoided. Oh the crap people forget.....But I dont.
