You need to bet 6 credits instead of 5, though, to get the pays on natural quads.
Thank you. Since it's only 98.7%, I won't be too concerned about it. It's in an Indian casino. I wonder if it's Class II or Class III.

If and when it appears in regular casinos with a better pay schedule, that'll be time enough to examine it more fully.
Wisconsin is generally Class III for VP afaik.

The 98.7% version also exists at Majestic Star in Indiana, which is a riverboat with "Vegas Style" slots/video poker. The highest base returning game there is another "new" game: 9/6 Triple Triple Bonus (99.75%). That game is a bit crazy for me. But might take a small stab at it this week!

Deuces Wild Double Double Bonus can be found here in Vegas at the Rampart on some new Game King machines by the Cashier cage.

Usual rule of thumb: When full houses pay 4 for 1, keep Two Pair. When full houses pay 3 for 1, keep one pair. And when playing Bonus (or Double Bonus) Deuces keep the Pair that gives you a chance at the higher 5 of a Kind pay line when faced with a decision between which pair to keep, aces first, then 3s thru 5s, then 6s thru Ks.
In 9/4 bonus deuces (pays 99.4), you still hold 2 pairs. And you also should hold suit Ace Ten.

However, in Deuces DDB, betting 6 credits, you hold the lower pair.

Only if the lower pair is a premium pair.

In 9/4 bonus deuces (pays 99.4), you still hold 2 pairs. And you also should hold suit Ace Ten.

Suited AT is not significantly different from AK, AQ, or AJ in deuces wild variations. It is different in games where you get your money back for a pair of jacks or better, but deuces wild isn't one of those game.

In basically strategy for the 99.45% DWB, you hold none of these A-high 2-card royal draws. In more advanced strategy, you hold the combination so long as there is no flush penalty.

There are "power-of-the-pack" considerations that make a suited AT slightly more holdable than AJ which is more holdable than AK. See the Dancer/Daily Winner's Guide for either FPDW or NSU for a discussion of this. It's quite a bit beyond the level most players master.
