My Mrs. knocks one out of the park

The player next to me was playing double double bonus triple play just a few hands after he hit aces without a kicker he got dealt a royal on all three lines since it was a dollar machine he raked in 12 grand Plus the cases hit. He said he had about 1800 in the machine so he did really well and was headed home. He claims to be ahead of them $250,000 for the year. Always plays dollars triple play.Who’s to say I have seen him hit big before and he always quits immediately and goes home. Of course it helps that he only lives 10 minutes from the casino.

Last year I saw the same guy playing the multistrike machine and then a royal on the top line for 32,000 bucks

Trial 9 was a catastrophic failure. Joker kings no quads or anything larger for the entire session. In desperation switched to deuces for the last hundred bucks of the five and played 5 quarters but no dice. Tier status lock in contest next week. If no jackpot hits it will cost me at least three grand will just be playing Nickels or not it off until then
Sorry to hear that your luck changed. Is that the end for this particular strategy?

I personally wouldn't believe him. If the game was 100% return (I know it's less than this), he would have to be the equivalent of 62.5 royals ahead of expectation for the year. On Triple Play? NO EFFING WAY.

Hope you do better in Trial 10. 3K for a years' worth of comped accommodations, etc. is not a bad deal given how often you go. Hopefully, you will not spend that much and even come out ahead. Good luck.

Although I haven't been following Old's latest betting system, (I suspect it is some sort of Martingale), isn't this the way that "systems" tend to end up? - many small wins with an occasional complete wipe out?

Congrats on you and the Missus for the recent nice ones.

Olds, Trial #9 is not a failure yet. Pickup where you left off with your last $100.

I agree with you vman. Seems too far fetched. I think I am going to dump the trial though. Playing 7 hours straight on joker kings without a quad was too much to bear. I would expect it on job but not on joker kings. That would be about 4500 hands. I suspect the probability of that happening would be very very low. On the plus side, i am still a couple of hundred ahead even after losing 500 on trial 9. I may start another trial on double super times pay deuces. Nickels. Horrible 95 percent paytable though. The only good thing though on this or ultimate x is one hit with a multiplier can make up for a lot of losing hands

I feel like doing a BP marathon with some Martingdale sprinkled in. Lots of extra excitement if you have the BR.

Bp is a good game, but at Mohegan, they pulled the 8/5 99.1 version in 2011. I refuse to play it with the lower paytables. If every player did the same thing, two things would happen. Either they would put them back or they would pull the vp machines entirely. The second scenario seems the most likely considering the current trend of casino management. Years ago, I would ask casino management to put in a certain type of vp machine in a certain area and they would usually do it. No more. They just continue pulling them and replace with IQ of 85 penny machines. I'm not saying the younger set all have an IQ of 85, but one thing is for sure. They for the most part cannot read, do basic math without a calculator, and cannot write. Some cannot even write their own name. You can't blame the classroom teachers either. They don't teach kids how to write anymore, have an insane way of teaching math, don't teach money, and teach very little history which as we all know repeats itself. These programs are mandated by the states and individual school systems. Ever ask a young person to make change in their head or ask them how much they will have to pay for something that is 60 percent off? Virtually none of them know to just multiply by .4 the original price. I run into stuff like this all the time. I get a kick out of a group of young people who are trying to decide how much each one in the group must pay toward their bill. All they know how to do is pull out their cell phones and ask it.
