Post by berk0 »

Can someone assure me please that NSUD Deuces Wild is included in the Video Poker for Winners software? [ie. paytable 4000, 1000, 125, 80, 50, 20, 20, 15, 10, 5] :?

Mine came equipped standard with Full-Pay Deuces Wild (100.76%), Almost Positive Deuces Wild (25/15/11/4/4/3; 99.96%), Not So Ugly Deuces (25/16/10/4/4/3; 99.73%), Illinois (or Airport) Deuces (25/15/9/4/4/3; 98.91%), and some game that I don't know a nickname for (20/12/9/5/3/2; 98.94%).

In addition, the game has a feature that allows you to change to a custom paytable.

I got my game maybe 15 years ago, so I don't know if any changes have been made.

Thank you new2vp, that is good news.

can you now tell me how you got delivery of the software. I have tried about six different links before giving up. They either lead to a removed webpage or just time-out before loading. many thanks.

Sorry, it was so long ago, I don't remember. I just followed instructions. As I was typing this, I was thinking that I remembered that VPFW might no longer be marketed. Maybe Webman or someone else can confirm.

I typed this question into my Microsoft Bing browser: "Is video poker for winners still available?"

And got this answer:

"No longer available
A.C. says: This article was written by Bob Dancer. Nuff said with regard to its accuracy. It was written in 2016, but the information is timeless, with the exception of the recommendation for using the Video Poker for Winners software, which is no longer available; other tutoring products are, however."

The article that was referenced was from February 2023: 5 Easy Video Poker Tips That Every Casino Player Should Know

Thanks new2vp; yes it certainly looks like VPFW is unavailable, even the link to videopoker.com [https://www.videopoker.com/pro/?s=vpw] says right at the top "Video Poker for Winners is no longer available" However it IS software which "in theory" should function on an old Windows OS with flash present, so, I haven't given up just yet.

All the best new2vp, you have been very helpful.

I use VPW most every week. Was an issue getting it to load in windows 11 but working well.

Looks to be available on Cnet.com

There was an issue with Flash being discontinued which led to it being withdrawn. The only decent trainer still available without subscription is WinPoker, but that is now a 20 year old software.
