August Game Spotlight – Fifty Play with Quick Quads

This month, we are featuring Fifty Play with Quick Quads, where you can turn a 3-of-a-kind hand into a 4-of-a-kind quad winner -- with fifty opportunities at a time! A sixth credit wagered funds the bonus without taking anything away from the standard pay table. After the draw, if your hand is a 3-of-a-kind, the two non-matching cards - ace (1) through 9 - are added together. If the sum is equal to the rank of the 3-of-a-kind, the player is awarded the 4-of-a-kind pay.

Earn 2X Players Club points all month long playing Fifty Play with Quick Quads.

GOLD Feature Highlight – Credit Tracking

When you return to a game you were playing, we remember where you left off, so in addition to keeping track of credits with a particular game you are playing, any multipliers or bonuses you’ve accumulated during play will be there too. For Keno lovers, we’ll also remember your picks! Credit Tracking is a GOLD Member exclusive.

July iPad Winner – It Pays to Play!

Congratulations to rolf, our latest iPad winner. Rolf qualified with 204 contest sessions in July which earned roughly a 1 in 2,630 chance of winning the random drawing. We've also awarded GOLD memberships to 10 other random winners.

At the end of every month, we will have a random drawing and award a brand new iPad Air to one lucky winner and GOLD memberships to 10 other winners. Each contest session you play during the month is a chance to earn an entry into the drawing, so the more sessions you play, the better your chance of winning!

Since all contests are now playable on mobile devices, rolf will be able to play on a brand new iPad!

This Month's Kicker

On February 14th, 1992 I was at a convention in Las Vegas, however being from Phoenix, I would either fly to Las Vegas or to Laughlin 3 times a month. My meetings had finished around 2 A.M. in the morning, and I was on my way back to my room at Harrahs. I thought I would unwind after a very good day, with a night ending cocktail, and play my favorite machine in Harrahs. So I bought a rack ($100.00) and ordered a cocktail. At 2 to 3 in the morning on a week day, there were very few players in the Hotel, so when my cocktail waitress finally brought my cocktail, I was just about to put a hold on 3 aces, 2 reds and the ace of clubs. As I stood up to give the waitress, I accidentally hit deal, BEFORE I HAD PUT A HOLD ON THE 3 ACES. The first card out was the ace of spades, and I was sick, until I notice the lights lighting up, and was shocked to see the ace followed by the jack, 10, king and queen of spades. What a SHOCK, BUT, it only gets better. I had to wait about 15 minutes for Casino personal to arrive, and of course I had to give ID and Social Security, and back then, they didn't clear the machine until you were paid, and then they ask to play it off. While this was going on, I knew there would be a slight wait, so I ordered another cocktail, and another rack of chips. They arrived at almost the same time, and because I had $4,000.00 coming ONLY because of a stupid error on my part, I gave my cocktail waitress a $100.00 tip. This is going to be hard to believe, but on the 3rd hand on the machine next to my Royal, I was dealt The Ace , blank, blank, King & Queen of spades. I kept the 3, and caught the jack & 10 of spades. Now I know you readers will probably not believe it, especially with the odds of hitting a royal over 2,580,000, not to mention what those odds would be for side by side machines in the same suit and same order. Next morning on my way to breakfast both machines were closed down.....AHH, the "Good Old days". By the way I still have both tax forms framed and hanging on my office wall, with a picture with my FAVORITE Cocktail waitress.
